“I grew up in a household in which my mother cooked every meal from scratch and as a Food and Nutrition teacher, she ensured that all of our meals were full of goodness.
Moving into my teen and university years, all of that training was abandoned. Living on quick and convenient sustenance, I bought cheap, plentiful and easily available food focusing more on the quantity rather than the quality.
In the years since then I have taken great care to understand how the food I choose impacts my body and how the pounds I spend affect the environment. This journey has led to the creation of a delicious range of pioneering date butters that are good to the body and good to the earth.”
